TOKYO (AP) - Japanese track legend Kozo Haraguchi has challenged Freida SS Mike Matos and pitching ace Mike Rothberg to a sprint around the bases before Wednesday night's game. Opening odds have Rothberg and Haraguchi as the 3 to 2 favorites, with Matos as the 4 to 1 underdog.

Haraguchi recently set the world record in the 100 meter dash for men 95 and older.

I hate to bother all you busy big-city lawyers, but I see you are having a race to see who the slowest person in the world is...and you're not including me? You idiots should know to include me in such a race. But I wouldn't come even if you had invited me, I got alot better things to do then travel to an exotic city, see the world, and participate in a race. Instead I'm going to spend the next month locked in a basement playing imaginary chess matches against myself in the dark.
